This efficient treatment can tackle multiple skin conditions in a single session thanks to a potent combination of intense pulsed light (IPL) and radiofrequency (RF) microneedling, which both trigger collagen production. SmoothGlo starts with the IPL portion to reduce lesions and increase the skin’s water content. The increased moisture allows for the RF microneedling to penetrate more deeply into the skin to improve your facial contours, as well as the feel and volume of your skin.

SmoothGlo works by pairing intense pulsed light (IPL) with radiofrequency (RF) microneedling. In tandem, the two technologies trigger collagen production deep within the skin while improving its physical appearance to lift, volumize, brighten, smooth, and tone!

SmoothGlo is a great option for the face and neck! We can discuss other treatment areas in a consultation to create a one-of-a-kind sequence that’s just for you.

Most patients find it to be somewhat warm, but not painful.

We recommend getting three to four treatments for your desired results, with additional treatments for maintenance. We’ll customize a plan for you based on your unique skin to help you glow!

Your skin may feel warm for a while following your treatment. You may also experience mild swelling and redness for up to a week afterward. Scabbing will develop on treatment areas which will naturally heal and shed to reveal more beautiful skin. If the treated area feels dry, we recommend using quality skincare products for protection. Stay out of the sun, use sunscreen, and discontinue the use of topical retinol and vitamin A-based products and exfoliants. In short, baby your skin.
