Diana L. Fisher, RN OD

Dr. Fisher brings with her over 30 years of experience in the medical field with over 18 years dedicated specifically to eye care and conditions of the eye and face. Dr. Fisher brings a passion to her field due to the eye issues she has had since a child. It gives her great satisfaction to be able to assist others in their eye health journey.
Dr. Diana Fisher is a board-certified optometrist who has specialized in refractive surgery and the treatment of dry eye and related conditions as a part preparing her patients for refractive surgery for the past 20 years. With this knowledge, Dr. Fisher is now dedicated to focusing on the prevention of and treatment of dry eye conditions as well as associated, prevalent eye and facial conditions.
With the advent of advanced IPL technology as well as advanced radio frequency and dynamic muscle stimulation technology, the diagnosis and subsequent treatment of these conditions can be managed with more success than ever.
Dr. Fisher obtained her Registered Nurse degree in 1992 from Indiana State University and worked as a peripheral vascular intensive care nurse at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2002, Dr. Fisher obtained her Bachelor of Optometry degree from Indiana University and in 2004, obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree graduating with Beta Sigma Kappa honors.
Dr. Fisher is trained in performing IPL treatments for dry eye as well as related eye and facial conditions and has certifications by the National Laser Institute in performing neurotoxin, hyaluronic filler and PRP injections.
Dr. Fisher has been active in providing eye care in mission trips to Mexico, Haiti and Uganda as well as leading the Elite LASIK and Cataract team to Haiti in 2017 to care for patients at the St. Ard Hospital in St. Ard, Haiti.
Dr. Fisher is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
In her spare time, Dr. Fisher enjoys spending time with her 4 daughters and 6 grandchildren. She enjoys traveling and being outdoors doing many activities with her family. She also enjoys serving in the Indianapolis community and is active on the gala committee for Indiana Blind Children’s Foundation.
