Dr. Berry is originally from Auburn, Indiana. She is happy to be serving patients again in her home state, and has a passion for treating each patient as a family member of her own.
Dr. Berry attained her undergraduate degree in Nutrition Science from Indiana University. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry graduating from Indiana University School of Optometry with high honors. During her training, Dr. Berry was able to gain vast experience in the treatment and management of ocular disease, pre- and post- operative care, specialty contact lens fittings, pediatric care, and co-management with ophthalmology. Dr. Berry has experience working with diverse patient populations through her training at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center (Charleston, SC), Lawndale Christian Health Center (Chicago, IL), Indianapolis Eye Care Center, and The Eye Institute of Utah (Salt Lake City, UT). She gained a passion for service through two trips to Frome, Jamaica providing disease management and pre- and post- operative care to underserved communities. She also enjoyed volunteering her time and skills to give pediatric eye exams at local schools, as well as at the annual Indiana Special Olympics. Dr. Berry demonstrated leadership skills during her time at Indiana University as an associate instructor, teaching anatomy courses to undergraduates as well as clinical science courses for optometry students.
After finishing her schooling, Dr. Berry spent several years practicing at a multi-specialty practice alongside ophthalmologists in Chicago, IL. She has gained years of experience in comprehensive eye care. She has enjoyed serving patients of all ages for glasses and contact lens needs, as well as providing post-operative cataract and retina care, treating ocular emergencies, and diagnosing and managing glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and dry eye disease.
