Multifocal IOL ReZoom™ Indianapolis

ReZoom™ Multifocal Intraocular Lens was designed to help treat cataracts for patients.The lens provides patients with vision at multiple distances. Once the cataract is removed and ReZoom™ is in place, patients will be able to see at both near and far distances. Patients will become less dependent on their glasses and will have visual freedom.

Previously, a monofocal lens was set in place following cataract surgery but with advancements in technology multifocal intraocular lens have been created. A monofocal lens usually provides patients with good vision at far distances which is helpful for most everyday activities. However, the monofocal lens does not help patients with their new vision, leaving them to still need reading glasses.

The ReZoom™ Multifocal Lens has a patented new design called Balanced View Optics™ Technology. The new technology allows patients to see at a variety of distances without have to be dependent on their glasses. Following cataract surgery, a clinical study shows that 92% of patient who received the ReZoom™ Multifocal Lens reported that they either "never" or "occasionally" have to wear their glasses. ReZoom™ is a substantial improvement over regular monofocal intraocular lenses.
